Machined from solid 4mm aluminium for Luxello’s 20cm (200mm) backlit house numbers, door numbers, and letters, the Neutra Horizontal Backplate Panel presents each character in the iconic Neutra typeface — drawn from the modernist architectural tradition with direct heritage to European Bauhaus design. Specified by European architects and designers, its wide landscape format suits residential entries, commercial buildings, and contemporary European facades — displaying each character side by side in a clean, uninterrupted horizontal row.
Each panel is machined from solid 4mm aluminium and pre-drilled to the exact number sequence ordered — concealed mounting studs anchor it flush to the wall with no visible fixings, creating a seamless floating effect. Available in 10 architectural finishes including Satin White, Satin Black, Satin Brass, Rusted Steel, and Satin Bronze — choose a colour that complements or contrasts your Neutra numbers. Six number colour options and nine LED colour choices complete the configuration.
The Horizontal Backplate is available in five sizes to suit any address length — from a single-digit panel at 25cm × 20cm to a five-digit panel at 25cm × 80cm. All panels ship fully assembled with spacers and mounting hardware included. Lead time is 2–3 weeks.
How to Order
The backplate panel must be ordered in conjunction with your 20cm Neutra backlit house numbers and letters. Select your numbers first, then add the corresponding horizontal backplate. Each panel is pre-drilled to your exact number sequence and ships fully assembled — making installation straightforward. Lead time is 2–3 weeks.

Luxello makes the backlit numbers and letters in six sizes including 3”, 5”, 8”, 10”, 16” and 24” inch. There are also 1 - 2 custom sizes that are available upon request. All the numbers can be ordered in the following metal colors including Brushed Silver, Black, Bronze, Brass and Brushed Red combined with any of the LED color options. These are low voltage so you will require a transformer like a doorbell transformer or a 5 Watt LED Driver. A single power supply is enough to illuminated up to 6 numbers. The wires from each number all get connected to the same power supply they do not have any polarity. If you have a battery power pack that can output the required voltage requirements then you can use that as well. LED driver options
